Hello, all.
I am posting more of my attempts at studying the figure. We had a great session with Pete Turner, local model here in town. Pete is a Theater Guy, which makes him IMHO a great model.
The first image is part of our warm up, short poses from two to ten minutes, this one being five minutes.
The second image is twenty minutes, with an additional ten at home to add a few more detalis. It's a work in progress, which I hope to render more fully, with more defintion and sculptural light.
I stay inspired by a guy whom I feel fortunate that he considers it worth his time to call me a friend, Kyle Webster. If you haven't visited his blog, The Daily Figure, you should. The images are drawn from imaginantion, no references, but are simple and poweful, with lots of motion and grace.
