I cooked the venison sausages I bought at the Southwark Slow Food Festival the best way I know how: with juniper sauce. It is a variation of the classic bourguignonne for game dishes. Juniper berries give that foresty, coniferous fragrance that goes well with the powerful flavour of venison, boar or pheasant. Potatoes boiled in jackets are there just to soak in the juices and aid the enjoyment of two major flavours.

Venison sausages with juniper sauce
I cooked the venison sausages I bought at the Southwark Slow Food Festival the best way I know how: with juniper sauce. It is a variation of the classic bourguignonne for game dishes. I'm In the Band
Yes, yes yes. All right.
I had to drag myself away from my band :) (We just got Rockband for ps2)
I'm partial to the guitar but will play any of the instruments. We can't get the mic working yet, so I still have a voice :)
When I told my students I didn't eat dinner last night they asked why. I told them I was too busy playing Rock Band. They died laughing! Then they started drawing pictures of me playing the drums and such. So cute!!
The principal, who knew we were getting it yesterday, asked me this afternoon if I took a nap during my plan time. I said, "No, but I should have." :)
One more reason NOT to go to karate tonight. But I will drag myself away and make myself go since I didn't go last week.
