For the Inauguration of Obama, Daniel and I went to the Earth House in Indianapolis. The celebration was: African drums, dancing, singing, poetry slam, sampling locally made caramels and checking out all the good looking hipsters. Chili was served from somewhere "upstairs." I saw my yoga teacher there, Carol Tharp-Perrin. She was too busy hugging everyone to see me. One African American artist named "Alkemie" presented a painting he did of Obama as an Egyptian pharaoh. He shook his head full of dreads as he called Obama the new "son of god." Anyway, he said prints of the painting would be available on e-bay for $15. I decided to look on ebay to see if they were selling. I found page after page of peoples' interpretation of Obama. This is really interesting. Here are just a few.
