Foster Program
Our Foster Program works hand in hand with out volunteer program. After all, foster families are volunteers! Do you love animals but are not looking for a long term commitment? The foster program might be perfect for you. Families take; litters of kittens, cats and kittens with medical needs, or animals that need some socialization, until they are ready for spaying or neutering and can go up for adoption. All expenses are covered by our shelter for your new furry friends (i.e. litter, food, medication, cage and blankets if needed). Once the animals are on the adoption floor, the foster family fills out an "All About Me" form about your foster friend. This form goes on the front of their cage so guests know how special each pet is. Foster families are then called when the pet they were caring for is adopted. If you think this would be a good fit for you and your family you may contact Taryn, foster coordinator, at 440-951-6122 ext. 106.
