Vintage Greetings

I wanted to share a a few more vintage Christmas postcards from my collection before Christmas is over with. Here is a lovely one. Isn't she beautiful! This card is deeply embossed so that when you touch it you can feel the ridges of her charming blue hat and coat and the fur muff and collar too. It is postmarked Jan. 6, 1910 Annapolis, MD. I guess this person was late sending out their Christmas wishes too.

It was sent to Master John Martin in Visalia, Cal. Green 1 cent stamp.
The message reads with carefully inked penmanship:

Dear Little Sweetheart,
How are you? I received the picture of you with your little rider, and sure think it's sweet. I would love to squeeze you real hard. What is Santa Clause going to bring you? Tell Mother I will write her a letter in just a few days. Have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Years.
With Love, Nona

Hope you are enjoying these postcards. The art and workmanship that went into making them in that time period is so wonderful.
