I wanted something that sounds feminine, seeing how I am a girl after-all. It's defining. Fun. And takes me away from using all those darn astrological words jazz bands use....like star, moon, light, sky. I couldn't, however, escape the word "blue." Why is it that jazz bands insist on using the word blue? Why not green? Or fusia? I can't answer the question but somehow it just seems......right.
Said Girl actually has a history. It was a nickname given to me by a friend a few years ago. It's a fun play on words. The Sinatra knock-off and the other blue names I've been thinking about for a few days.
