Sanjay Dutt nickname Sanju Baba born on July 29, 1959, is an Indian Bollywood film actor now turn as a politician. A two time Filmfare Awards winner, Sanjay Dutt is the son of Bollywood stars Sunil Dutt and Nargis. In January 2009, Dutt announced that he would contest the Lok Sabha elections on the Samajwadi Party ticket.

Sanjay Dutt is the son of the late actors Nargis and Sunil Dutt. He has two sisters, Priya Dutt and Namrata Dutt (Anju). He was educated at the Lawrence School, Sanawar. Sanju Baba struggled with drug addiction while in high school and after the death of his mother. He married Richa Sharma in 1987 who died of cancer in 1996. They had a baby girl, Trishala who lives in the United States. Dutt is currently married to Manyata, his third wife.

Bollywood Superstar Sanju Baba finally marriage with his girlfriend of two years, Manyata, at the Taj Exotica in Goa on February 7 in front of a few close friends as witnesses. The couple solemnised the marriage vows according to Hindu rites on Monday in Mumbai. Before marriage Sanjay Dutt completed the divorce proceedings with ex-wife Rhea Pillai. But her sisters Priya Dutt and Namrata refuse to attend the marriage cermony.

In Jan 17, 2008 Sanjay Dutt annouce to contest election from Lucknow in the ticket of Samajwadi Party with the help of his new charming wife Manayata and most popular politician in bollywood Amar Singh.

Now, Sanjau Baba the Munna Bhai, has also made up his mind to join politics. The popular Superstar from Mumbai has selected UP for his political debut. UP incidentally churns out 80 MPs and forms a large chunk of the 545 MPs deciding the fate of central Govt. So, his participation will mean a lot for the Samajwadi Party he is supporting.

The Gandhigiri role played by Sanju baba, which shows a new way to so many people out there in India, will probably give a hands up to Sanjay but still he is not so much popular that he can be a big player in the field of politics.
