I've been on a Disney kick the last little while. Me and my brother Thomas can't get enough!
My mother cleaned out the closet of all our old VHS favorites. I can't believe she'd commit such an act! We couldn't bare to see such a thing happen so Thomas and I joined forces and went to extreme lengths to save what was left of our childhood. Luckily, Thomas secured the basic classics....The Lion King, The Fox and the Hound, Mulan, Sleeping Beauty.....while I saved the Disney Sunday Movie favorites......The Dirt Bike Kid, The BRAT Patrol, The Leftovers.
Now that I'm all "growed" up and watching Disney movies, I'm finding that there are some deep life lessons to be learned from Disney classics.....
"Absence makes the heart grow fonder." -Robin Hood
"I don't want to see a naked man again!" -Mulan
"It means you are a baboon, and I am not...." -The Lion King
"We all go a little mad sometimes. Haven't you?" -Alice in Wonderland
Deep. I have so much to learn....must watch more Disney!
